You can never have too many bracelet holders! You guys are always asking us for ideas on cute new ways to hold your Pura Vida Bracelets. So we have another one to share with you! Follow along to see how we did it.

Supplies:

  1. Candle dish
  2. Gold paint pen
  3. Hot glue gun
  4. Yarn

All we did here was flip over the dish so that we would be drawing the sun right in the center of the backside. The pegs will be used to hang our bracelets on. Feel free to draw anything that inspires you. This is your time to get creative!

Next, we will taking the yarn and braiding a long strand. This will be used to hang up the dish.

Simply flip over the dish and put two dots of hot glue about 1-1.5 inches apart at the top. You will then glue down the braided yarn to create a handle. See image below. Make it long enough so that the strands hang below for a nice touch of detail!

Ta-da! You have a brand new bracelet holder!

PV Takes Barcelona!

April 1, 2019 — by Chelsey Bishoff

As we keep taking on the world one city at a time, we want to continue to bring you along with us! On this trip to Spain we were able to explore the beautiful streets of Barcelona and eat all the yummy tapas! Here’s a few highlights from yet another epic trip of #PVgoesGlobal. Where should we go next?

We shared countless meals and lots of juice during our stay. Did you know that Spain is known for their freshly squeezed OJ? So naturally we had a glass for every… single… meal. And let me tell ya, it lived up to all the big talk!

Arc de Triomf was for sure a landmark we had to see with our own eyes! From the breathtaking architecture, to the street art there was so much to see!

We took strolls down by the coast of Barcelona too. We even were able to take a cruise around the Mediterranean Sea with a few friends. It was magical!

More coffee please! Due to some obvious jet lag, we made sure to keep the caffeine pumpin’.

How amazing is the Cathedral of Barcelona?! The closer we got to it, the more breathtaking it was! Musicians were playing outside of it creating the most beautiful sounds. It was definitely a surreal moment for all of us. We all just kinda starred in amazement.

It’s always dancing time in Barcelona! We went out to snap a few photos before heading to dinner one evening. Running through the streets of Barca was exhilarating to say the absolute least.

This place is called Bunkers. It over looks the whole city! People go up here at sunset to watch the pretty colors that are painted in the sky as the day comes to an end. It’s tradition to bring a nice picnic along to enjoy– so we did just that!

Goodnight, Barcelona! Thank you for all the amazing sight seeing and new memories.

5 Ways to Have a Good Day

February 24, 2019 — by Chelsey Bishoff

IMG_9003-960x1288.jpg

We can all have those bad days where we feel unmotivated and a little down on ourselves. Sometimes there are reasons behind it like stress from school, work or everyday life. Other times, we can’t exactly pinpoint the issue we just know we feel a tad off and need a pick-me-up! Well, we have a 5 step list that is sure to help cheer you up and get you back on your feet!

  1. Go grab a yummy coffee at your favorite coffee shop
  2. Eat a nice healthy and delicious meal
  3. Wear your favorite Pura Vida Bracelets stack
  4. Get outside
  5. Do something kind for someone else

First stop: coffee shop!

  1. Grab a coffee: I love iced chai lattes. They always make me feel better and give me that kickstart that I need. I suggest going to your favorite spot too. It’s familiar to you, so it feels homey and cozy.

2.  Eat a nice healthy delicious meal: Eating well will make you feel good! So, pick something that will make your taste buds happy and your body happy! And we all know that having a good meal helps any mood.

3. Wear your fav Pura Vida Bracelets stack: look good, feel good! That’s our life motto.

4. Get outside: Fresh air can cure all. Trust us! Going near the ocean always helps me. All I need is a little vitamin sea! Or take a nice stroll around a local park. Anything to get you moving and outdoors.

5. Do something kind for someone else: Helping someone benefits us more than you think. You can walk away from a situation knowing you helped someone in need, which ultimately makes you feel good. It will change your whole mood around! Sometimes we get so caught up in our own emotions that it’s good to stop and think about others for a second to help give you a little perspective. Plus, you’ll never regret being kind.
