Loaded Kale Salad

This one is not only for all you veggie lovers, but everyone else too! Before you turn your nose up to greens, this bowl is sure to impress. With all the yummy toppings, you’re going to fall in love with this healthy, delicious, and satisfying meal.

Here is what you will be needing:

  1. Organic kale
  2. 1 egg
  3. Sweet potato
  4. Lime, salt, pepper, garlic powder
  5. Red onion
  6. Avocado
  7. Hot sauce (optional)

Start by cutting up your sweet potato and 1/2 of a red onion. Place in pan on medium heat and sauté until your ingredients are softened. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Then add in your chopped kale. Sauté until the kale as shrunk and softened.

Place in bowl

Next, fry your egg and add to the top of the salad.

Place sliced avo on top and squeeze lime juice all over. Drizzle a bit of hot sauce on the top if preferred.

Ta-da!

Mix up all ingredients and enjoy!

Sushi Jars

Calling all sushi lovers! We have a fast and easy way to get your hands on a tasty sushi treat without the hassle of making messing sushi rolls at home. Not only is this a fun alternative to sushi rolls, but you can also take it on-the-go to class or work! So, for all you meal preppers, listen up! We have your fav new go-to meal.

What you will need:

  1. Mason jar
  2. Rice
  3. Cucumber
  4. Crab
  5. Avocado
  6. Soy suase
  7. Pickled ginger
  8. Sesame seeds

Pour in about 2 tablespoons of soy sauce in the bottom of the jar.

Second, add in 1/3 cup of cooked rice.

Next goes in the sliced cucumber.

Stand all the ingredients up so they all can properly fit.

Add in the crab.

Add in the avocado and pickled ginger on top.

Then finish it all off with the sesame seeds!

When you are ready to enjoy, shake it all up and it’s ready to eat!

Healthy Spinach and Egg Toast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so we are always looking for new ways to keep it healthy and delicious. We wanted to get a little creative for this recipe while still including some of our favorite ingredients! Follow along to learn how to make your new favorite toast. We are obsessed!

Ingredients:

  1. Whole grain toast
  2. 2 cups of spinach
  3. Boiled egg
  4. Minced onions, salt, red pepper flakes, olive oil
  5. Almond slivers

Begin by:

  • toasting your bread
  • saute the spinach and minced onions together
  • boil your egg and wait for it to fully cook

Once you have done all that, add the spinach on top of the toast. Next, slice the egg and place on top of the spinach. Finish it off by sprinkling the sliced almonds, salt, red pepper flakes and olive oil to the top.

We promise you will love it!

Pomegranate Mint Mocktail

Holiday party coming up? We have a delicious refreshment to serve up for all your guests. Today we will be making Pomegranate Mint Mocktails, With Christmas right around the corner we are getting into the holiday spirit with all kinds of festive recipes. This one is sure to be a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients:

1. pomegranate

2. lime

3. bunch of fresh mint leaves

4. 1/2 cup sugar

5. seltzer water

 

Blend half of your pomegranate seeds, 1/2 cup of sugar, 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice, handful of mint leaves and 2 cups of seltzer water.

Make sure to save some mint, lime wedges and pom seeds to garnish your drinks with!

Pour over ice and enjoy!

Mummy Brownies

Obsessing over these mummy brownies! How cute are they?! These are for sure my favorite halloween treats that I have made to this date. Everyone loved these when I was finished with them. Not only are they eye catching, but they taste yummy too! The most perfect spoooky dessert to bring to any Halloween get together. Follow along to see how to make them!

What you’ll need:

  1. White chocolate or vanilla icing (icing works best)
  2. Marshmallows
  3. Brownie mix
  4. Googly eyes
  5. Black baking gel

First, begin by following the directions on the back of the brownie mix! Once you have baked them, allow the brownies to cool and then cut them into squares.

Next, place a marshmallow on top of each brownie.

-Melt your chocolate or icing in a microwave safe bowl. Do this in 30 second increments at a time and stir as you go. Continue these steps until it is completely melted and silky. (Again, the icing will be a much smoother turn out)

-Once you have your melted chocolate or icing, pour a spoonful amount over the marshmallow coating it. Once your icing has cooled, take black gel and create the lines mimicking a wrapped mummy.

-Final step: place googly eyes on top!

Pineapple bowl

With this refreshing snack, you’ll feel like you’re on a tropical island vacay! It’s sure to keep your tummy happy and healthy. You don’t always have to set aside your health to get a nice sweet treat. This pineapple bowl is exactly what we needed to curve our sweet tooth craving without loading up on bad foods. Follow along to see how we made it!

Ingredients: 

  1. Pineapple
  2. Bananas
  3. Kiwi
  4. Granola
  5. Honey
  6. Plain greek yogurt

Begin by cutting the pineapple in half and gutting one side to use it as the bowl.

Next, fill it with the plain greek yogurt. We went with plain yogurt because there’s less sugar and since we are using a nice juicy pineapple, the natural sugars from the fruit will make add all the yummy sweetness we need!

Next come the toppings!

We used bananas, kiwi and granola.

Last but not least, drizzle the top with honey!

Cinnamon honey oats bowl

One of our go to breakfast meals in the Fall is this quick and easy oats bowl. With just a few ingredients, you will have this warm and cozy recipe in minutes! Comfort food is essential in these cooler months! Follow along to see step by step.

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cup rolled oats
  2. 1 cup water or almond milk
  3. Tablespoon of honey
  4. 1/4 cup of rasins
  5. A few dashes of cinnamon

Mix the water into the oats. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute.

Next, add in the rest of the dry ingredients.

Mix well!

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Fall is here! Can you believe it? With the new season in full swing, we have made a fall favorite to help you celebrate. Let’s get started!

What You’ll Need:
1) 2 cups milk
2) 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
3) 2 tablespoons sugar
4) 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
5) 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
6) 1/2 cup hot coffee

Step 1) Add milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar to a saucepan over medium heat (heat until hot, but do not boil)

Step 2) Whisk in vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and coffee

Step 3) Pour mixture into two mugs (or cute to-go cups)
Step 4) Top with whipped cream and enjoy!

Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Crumble Cookies

These Chocolate Peanut Butter Crumble Cookies are not only delicious, they are also vegan and gluten-free! How amazing is that? Let’s get started!

What You’ll Need:
1 tbsp ground flax
3 tbsp water
1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup gluten-free rolled oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp fine sea salt
1/4 cup non-dairy chocolate chips
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 tbsp pure maple syrup


Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F


Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the ground flax and water


Step 3: In a large bowl, whisk together the coconut, rolled oats, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and chocolate


Step 4: Add the peanut butter, vanilla, maple syrup, and flax mixture


Step 5: Form the dough into 12 balls and place them on prepared baking sheet

Step 6: Bake for 12-14 minutes

Step 7: Let the cookies cool completely then enjoy!

Shrimp poke bowl

In the summer months I find myself wanting to only eat very light and fresh meals. So here I have put together for you a super simple, healthy lunch option for you to prepare at home. With just a few ingredients, you’ll have a homemade shrimp poke bowl in minutes!

Ingredients:

-Shrimp

-Egg

-Brown rice

-Avocado

-Red pepper flakes, salt, olive oil, a squeeze of lemon juice

 

First fill your bowl with brown rice, then top it with a fried egg.

Add in your fresh shrimp.

Next, add some sliced avocado and your seasonings!

Cucumber Tomato Salad

Take a break with this refreshing afternoon snack. The summer heat can get the best of us so make sure to stay hydrated and eat your veggies! Make this recipe in minutes for any get together!

What you’ll need:

-Cherry tomatoes

-Cucumbers

-Basil

-Feta cheese

-Balsamic vinegar

Take a handful of cherry tomatoes and dice in half.

Dice cucumber slices into fours.

Mix in bowl and add your feta cheese and basil

Enjoy!

S’mores Dip

Summer is here! Can you believe it? With cabin season in full swing, we have created a fun recipe to help you celebrate. Let’s get started!

What You’ll Need:
1) 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
2) 8 jumbo marshmallows
3) Graham cracker squares
4) Cast iron skillet


Step 1: Preheat oven to 450°F
Step 2: Pour an even layer of chocolate chips into skillet


Step 3: Cut marshmallows in half
Step 4: Place marshmallow halves over the chocolate chips


Step 5: Bake for 7-8 minutes or until marshmallows are golden
Step 6: Serve with graham cracker squares & ENJOY
