Chocolate Heart Pops

March 19, 2017 — by Chelsey Bishoff

Welcome Spring and all the lovely colors that come along with it! We wanted to get in the spirit of a new season by making a super sweet treat with our favorite spring colors! And who doesn’t love chocolate?! Let’s get started!

Here is what you will need:

  1. White chocolate candy melts
  2. Lollypop sticks
  3. Food coloring
  4. Sprinkles and decorating gel

Step one: melt the chocolate candy by following the instructions on the back of your bag. Once totally melted, add your first color of dye. Do this same thing with all the colors you choose to use.

Mix the dye in all the way.

If you don’t have an icing kit at home, easily use a plastic baggy instead! All you need to do is cut a small hole in the corner of the bag, fill the bag with your melted chocolate and you are good to go! Oil your pan and place the lollipop sticks down. Now, squeeze the chocolate into heart shapes on the end!

Stick the heart pops in the fridge to cool. Decorate the pops with the decorating gel + sprinkles however you would like! TA-DA!

For an extra fun addition, display the Spring heart pops with EDIBLE grass! (Found at our local craft store.) Set out for guests or give as gifts!
