Fall schedules can make us crazy between work, school, and everything else that comes with this cooler weather. It is important to make time for an activity that focuses on your mind, body and soul. Make time for you. Yoga is a great way to accomplish this. We have created a yoga mat strap inspired by the new season. We hope to see you in the studio!
What You’ll Need:
1) Leather (2 – 29″ x 1.5″ pieces and 1 – 19″ x 1.5″ piece)
3) Permanent marker
4) Extra strong thread
Step 1: On both 29″ pieces of leather make marks at 1/4″, 1″, 5 1/4″, and 6″ in from one end of the leather
Step 2: Use awl and hammer to punch holes in the four marks on both pieces
Step 3: Fold leather so the holes match up and hand sew to secure
Step 4: Take the opposite end of the long piece and thread it through the loop formed by sewing the fold together (do this for both pieces of leather)
Step 5: On both ends of the 19″ piece and on the open ends of the 29″ pieces make a square of four dots
Step 6: Use awl and hammer to punch holes
Step 7: Hand sew a “x” thorugh the holes to secure
Step 8: Grab your yoga mat and head to the studio!
