Add a tropical twist to your Jack-O-Lantern this year and carve out a pineapple for some extra sweet and scary fun! Besides, eating the inside of a pineapple is way tastier than eating the inside of a pumpkin in our opinion.
Supplies:
Medium to large-sized pineapple
Small, sharp paring knife
Directions:
1) Lay the pineapple down and cut make 2 cuts lengthwise and 2 cuts widthwise so you’ve cut a rectangle shape out of the back of the pineapple. Remember to leave the top and crown intact!
2) Cut small squares out of the inside of the pineapple to hollow out the middle being careful not to cut all the way through to the other side.
3) Replace the back of the pineapple then turn the fruit over (the “front” of your jack-o-lantern should now be facing upwards) and start cutting in some eyes and a mouth then you’re done! Ready to get lit.
