Snow globes are a classic Christmas time decoration. They come in all unique styles, sizes and even have special meanings. Snow globes are the perfect sentimental gift for friends and family. So what is better than a homemade one? Get creative and decorate yours however you like! We seriously cannot get over how adorable they are. We can’t get enough! Follow along to see step by step how it’s done.

Supplies:

  1. Mason jars
  2. Mini Christmas figurines
  3. White/clear sequins
  4. White glitter
  5. Hot glue
  6. White spray paint
  7. Water

Step one: remove the lids of the mason jars and spray paint them white. While the paint is still wet use white fine glitter to sprinkle on top to act as snow.

Step 2: After that is done drying, glue down the figurines in the center of each lid.

Allow the hot glue to dry to ensure that they are secure on the lids.

Below is the result you should have.

Step 3: Sprinkle a fair amount of glitter and sequins in the bottom of the jars.

Step 4: Fill the jars up with water.

Step 5: Prepare the lids to be secured on top of the jars.

Step 6: Secure the lids tightly. Shake up the jar and watch the “snow” fall inside! Display the jars upside down! How cute?!

Need a quick and simple DIY? Walk into a winter wonderland with these beautiful laundry pin snowflakes. These are easily used as ornaments, gift box toppers, or fun room decorations. Take your pick! Follow along to see how we created them.

Supplies:

  1. Clothes pins (big and small)
  2. White spray paint
  3. Glitter
  4. Hot glue gun
  5. Felt puff balls

Step one: break apart the clothes pin to separate the two pieces.

This is what you should be left with.

To make the mini snowflakes, you will need 8 pins. Once you have broken the 2 pieces apart, flip them back to back. Use hot glue to seal them. Once you have all 8 pins sealed back to back, use the top center edges and glue them together as shown in the photos below.

Do the same steps for the larger snowflake. However, use the mini pins to fill in between the bigger ones.

Now, spray paint the snowflakes white. While they are still wet from the paint, sprinkle white/clear glitter all over. Allow to dry 10-15 min.

Then, glue one craft felt puff in the center.

Ta-da!

With the holidays coming in quick we are in DIY heaven! What’s better than personalized gifts? Make every present special this holiday season by putting your own personal spin to it. All my favorite gifts have been handmade. These gift boxes are also the perfect thing to gift Puravida Bracelets in. Make them for birthdays, holidays or any other special occasion. Let’s get started!

What you will need:

  1. Craft paper
  2. String
  3. Tape, scissors
  4. Tags and any other accessories you want to use to decorate
  5. Stensil provided

Begin by tracing the stencil onto your craft paper.

Use scissors to cut out the correct shape of the stencil.

The dotted lines in the stencil will guide you on where to fold your cutout. Once you have folded it into a box, use tape to secure the edges.

Use yarn or string to wrap around the box. Along with other decorations to add to the top!

Have fun and get creative to make it personal to the person you are giving it to!
