Started off the Fall season in the best way we knew how! We took advantage of the beautiful weather and headed off to have lunch in Central Park. It doesn’t get any more picture perfect than this! With all of our favorite snacks present and lots of lemonade, we enjoyed the company of one another! Tons of laughs, polaroids taken, and popcorn fights were had. What better way to spend a cool, crisp afternoon in New York City? I think we all agreed that there truly couldn’t have been a dreamier picnic. It was straight out of a story book! We even had other people stop by to take photos of the beautiful spread!

Time spent with friends is never wasted!

What snacks would you bring to your picnic?

Gotta snap a Polaroid or it didn’t happen. amiright?

Take a look at our spread! Name something prettier. I’ll wait…

These pretzels were HUGE! They were made for sharing. And so are laughs! We encourage you to get outside with your family and friends and enjoy the new season. Happy Fall!

Halloween is quickly approaching and I am so ready for it! Halloween is definitely one of my favorites to celebrate. Spooky DIY’s make for the best crafts. Today, let me show you how to do an extremely easy Halloween decoration you can add anywhere in your house! Grab your apple cider, some of your gal pals and let’s get started!

What you will need:

  1. Black and White yarn
  2. Googly eyes
  3. Book
  4. Scissors

Find a book that seems to be a nice length for the tassels. Wrap the white yarn around the book vertically 12-20 times.

Snip the end when you are done wrapping the yarn.

Take a new piece of white yarn and double knot it at one end of the yarn bundle.

Make sure to leave some extra length. You will needing it to tie them to the final garland strand.

On the opposite end, snip through the yarn.

This should be your end result.

Take a piece of black yarn and double knot it near the top about 1″-1.5″ down from the top of the tassel.

Once tied, snip the ends of the black yarn.

Time for the eyes!

Repeat all these steps for however many ghost tassels you want to hang. (You can also trim the length of the ghosts if you rather have a shorter look.

Knot them to string and hang!
