You can call it what you want – luck, karma, magic – always believe in it. But mostly never stop believing in yourself, because you’re capable of more than you think.
Soak up the sun this summer in Pura Vida! We love these bright and flirty styles!
“These were taken at Cardiff near the cliffs. It’s one of my favorite spots for all things fun in the sun! I wanted the photos to be beachy, playful, and care-free especially for a SoCal summer. I just happened to stumble across the purple flowers. The color was so rad and insanely vibrant! I’m actually the model in these photos. They were done for my blog Braided Bliss; fashion blog featuring causes and organizations to help raise awareness.” – Ansley

Enjoying some sweet summer treats with photographer Hallie Kathryn!
“This was the first time I had seen my best friend, Juliette, since winter break! We tried the new crepe spot in town and then got ice cream from the best place!! This was Juliette’s first day of summer vacation, and even though it wasn’t very sunny, we wanted to make it feel like a fun summer afternoon!” -Hallie
Dreaming of this vibrant city and all the excitement it holds. Located in the south-east corner of Australia, this thriving city is filled with quaint coffee shops, unique restaurants, chic fashion, and of course beautiful beaches. While it’s still a fairly young city, there’s loads of potential for exciting new neighborhoods and eclectic nightlife and oh boy, is it growing!
Hangin’ around with photographer Hallie Kathryn!! Her bright and vibrant photos catch the essence of summertime. We love her work! Check her out for more inspiration!
“I had SUCH a fun time with these girls the other day!! They are so cute and decided we wanted to play around town! Pura Vida Bracelets recently sent me some cute, summery, bracelets to photograph for them… We had FUN!” -Hallie
2. Offer to return a shopping cart for someone who is leaving as you are going towards the entrance of a store.
3. Make specific compliments to friends and family (or even a stranger).
A festival is more than just live music and a good time; it’s a celebration of life. Almost every country has their signature celebration and when that time of year comes around, they go big. We were ecstatic to kick off festival season with Coachella but little did we know there’s so many more! Kicking off the new year in China and ending with a Santa Run in Wales. There’s a few that are a bit odd and others that I’m adding to my bucket list right now. Side note: the dates are when the festivals begin in 2015, so start planning now!

This weeks Wanderlust Wednesday is inspired by our Life In Color Original, not so much the concert but the cities that are brought to life by the color they manifest. There’s so much beauty in color, besides the different hues, but that it brings anything it touches to life and it’s universal. Let’s agree that we always need a little more color in our life, the more color the better! Hopefully these colorful neighborhoods will inspire you to bring more color into your home.
1. Cinque Terre, Italy
2. Caminito, Buenos Aires
3. Wroclaw, Poland
4. Santa Maria, Rio De Janeiro
5. San Francisco, California
Adventure in style this summer with Pura Vida. We love our solid and original styles mixed together. They look great with just about every style imaginable. The color options are endless! They also look perfect in combination with our beanie collection. Pura Vida beanies come in many different colors, to match perfectly with all your outfits. We are obsessing over the Teal Beanie paired with jeans and a basic tee. It’s simple, yet adds a pop of color to the whole look! We also love the Heather Blue Beanie matched with jeans and a flannel. It’s just right for those colder evenings. The look is stunning mixed with pinks, purples, and blues.
South America can often times be overlooked when considering a place for travel. But it reality, it’s one continent that has yet to be touched. While it does have huge metropolitan cities like Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, it is also home to the largest rainforest, largest waterfall, and largest salt flats. It’s enriched with history and beauty in every corner. This is only a small introduction list to the many wonders of South America.
1. Machu Picchu, Peru
These ruins are over 550 years old and rest almost 8,000 feet above sea level. It’s about a two day trip up to the Lost City of the Incas, so make sure you’re in shape before you embark on your journey.
2. Uyuni Salt Flats, Bolivia
At over 4,000 square miles, makes this the worlds largest salt flat. It’s hard to depict where the salt flat ends and the sky begins because the salt acts like a mirror. It’s crazy to believe that this is the result of a prehistoric lake transformed between periods of time.
3. Iguazu Falls, Between Argentina & Brazil
One of the largest waterfalls in the world, with 300 different individual waterfalls all varying in size. There’s catwalks so that you can walk along the top of the falls and peep down at the massive fall. If you do find yourself here, make sure to take the boat ride which brings you up close and personal to the splash zone of these natural wonders.
4. Baños, Ecuador
Zip lining, cliff jumping, hot springs, and swinging at the edge of the world; this is the spot for the adventurer. With so much to offer, this city is a hot tourist spot with something for everyone to enjoy.
5. Perito Moreno Glacier, Argentina
If you travel here during the summer you will get the chance to see a chunk of ice break off, but if you go during the colder months you’ll have the chance to trek along the ice. Whichever journey you choose, you’ll be amazed by the view.
