“The Co-Founders of Pura Vida Bracelets Griffin Thall and Paul Goodman joined us live to tell us how a college graduation trip to Costa Rica helped them launch a multi-million dollar business venture.  Paul and Griffin visited a small community in Costa Rica to go surfing.  They crossed paths with two men named Jorge and Joaquin who were peddling bracelets on the street. The colorful bracelets were handmade in a simple way that seemed to capture the essence of their journey. Paul and Griffin asked them if they would be willing to make 400 bracelets to take back to the United States with them. Jorge was delighted to make such a sell, and the guys were thrilled to help them out, but to everyone’s good fortune, soon after returning to the states their friendship blossomed into a full-fledged business relationship.  Paul and Griffin were just named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list. New Pura Vida Updates!

Pura Vida Bracelets has grown insurmountably these past few months, and we just wanted to give all of you an update on our progress and our plans for the future!

First off, Pura Vida Bracelets has recently surpassed 100K followers on Instagram and we couldn’t be more excited! The brand has meant so much to us. Live free; live simple and live in the moment. That has been our motto from the start, and the inspiration for this brand from the beginning, so we are thrilled that everyone who follows us feels the same.

Additionally, we donated more than $42,000 to 190 different charity partners for the first Quarter of 2014. This is an amazing start to the year and we can’t wait to surpass this number for the upcoming quarters!

We have also recently teamed up with our good friends over at Sevenly to create an array of “people matter” packs that give back with every purchase! Sevenly is another social good company just like us. Every week, they team up with a different charity to help raise funds and awareness for a full seven days. This week’s charity is Sheepfold, which helps mothers and children who have been victims of domestic abuse learn to live independently.

Also, if you haven’t already noticed, we have new products on the shelves!
