October 30, 2018 — by Chelsey Bishoff

Is it actually Fall if you didn’t spend a chilly afternoon at a pumpkin patch picking your favorite ones? This is a tradition a lot of us make sure to check off the list every year. I love browsing through the endless rows looking for the perfect one to take home with me! It really get’s you in the Autumn mood when you grab your group of pals, family members or significant other and spend a day in the pumpkin patch!

Which kind of pumpkin do you usually go for?

Found the most perfect one for carving!

Feelin’ all the Halloween vibes. It’s one of my all time favorite holidays!

Say cheeeeese!

Picked my pumpkins and took some cute pics along the way. Now time to go home, make some hot cocoa and carve them!

Pumpkins on pumpkins on pumpkins! We’re loving all the fun things that you can do with them. The options are truly endless. This time around we were inspired by a favorite snack of ours– DONUTS! Go ahead, call some friends over and get crafty. Let’s get started!

What you’ll need:

  1. Small pumpkins
  2. Craft paint (pick whichever colors you like!)
  3. Paint brushesWe first cleaned our pumpkins to get any extra dirt off so they were nice and smooth.Start by putting the first layer of paint on. You will need to put 2-3 coats of paint depending on the pigment of the colors you chose. Let paint dry for about 3-5 minutes in between layers. When painting the “icing” on, make sure to leave a ring around the stem as the “donut hole.” And don’t worry– it doesn’t need to be perfect, because hey, donuts aren’t always perfectly iced!Processed with VSCO with a6 presetYay! The first few layers are done and ready to let sit and dry. Allow pumpkins to sit for about 5 minutes before painting on the sprinkles. Feel free to do whatever “toppings” you want on your donut-pumpkin. Get creative!Time for sprinkles!!Hmmm… which is what??We LOVE how our donut-pumkins turned out!We wanna see what awesome crafts your doing while rocking your Pura Vida Bracelets. Off the Beaten Path

“I was first introduced to Pura Vida Bracelets in the summer.  The vibrant colors snatched my attention (so did the wonderful cause behind them), and I would see them being kissed by the sun in the California beach towns where I live. When Pura Vida contacted me to shoot in the fall, I was impressed with how beautifully the the bracelets would pair with deep, dark, and rich-colored outfits for the season. I contacted Taryn, of Velvet Sugar Blog, with the perfect reddish ombre hair and gypsy style to model. We drove through Avila, CA and pulled over in some gorgeous areas along See Canyon on a whim for photos. It’s always an adventure with her!” – Kelsea Holder
