Today we’re dreaming of white sandy beaches, crystal clear water, and a lot of Vitamin D. The Maldive islands are a series of hot spots that make up twenty-six atolls in the middle of the Indian ocean. There’s also an island with a beach that illuminates at night called Vaadhoo Island. A great little escape for friends to enjoy water sports and couples to enjoy their honeymoon.
Ahh beautiful Barcelona! The capital of Catalonia will fill your senses, with its rich mix of modern and ancient architecture, enticing artisan markets and cafes, and sun-soaked mediterranean beaches. Stroll down the lively La Ramba and through the waterfront Barceloneta.
Dreaming of this vibrant city and all the excitement it holds. Located in the south-east corner of Australia, this thriving city is filled with quaint coffee shops, unique restaurants, chic fashion, and of course beautiful beaches. While it’s still a fairly young city, there’s loads of potential for exciting new neighborhoods and eclectic nightlife and oh boy, is it growing!
While they might be going extinct, there are a few bookstores that are just too beautiful to be forgotten. They’re spectacular in design, rich in history, and marvelous in all that is to be discovered! The convenience of Amazon and nooks are nice but these bookstores are worth leaving the country for. Take a gander at the worlds most grandiose bookstores and all the wonderful labyrinths they hold.

A festival is more than just live music and a good time; it’s a celebration of life. Almost every country has their signature celebration and when that time of year comes around, they go big. We were ecstatic to kick off festival season with Coachella but little did we know there’s so many more! Kicking off the new year in China and ending with a Santa Run in Wales. There’s a few that are a bit odd and others that I’m adding to my bucket list right now. Side note: the dates are when the festivals begin in 2015, so start planning now!

This weeks Wanderlust Wednesday is inspired by our Life In Color Original, not so much the concert but the cities that are brought to life by the color they manifest. There’s so much beauty in color, besides the different hues, but that it brings anything it touches to life and it’s universal. Let’s agree that we always need a little more color in our life, the more color the better! Hopefully these colorful neighborhoods will inspire you to bring more color into your home.
