Tropical Sunset Smoothie

Fruit smoothies are a sweet and simple way to get your daily intake of healthy awesomeness. Change up your morning breakfast routine with our layered Tropical Sunset Smoothie. It almost looks too good to eat…almost.

Makes 2 servings
1 cup Frozen Strawberries
1 cup Frozen Mango
1 Large Frozen Banana
1 cup Water / Coconut Milk / Almond Milk < Choose whatever liquid you want!

1) Blend 1 frozen banana, 1 cup of frozen mango and 3/4 cup of liquid in a blender. This is the first layer of your smoothie, so it needs to be thick in order for the layers to build properly. Add more frozen mango if you need to thicken the mixture. Pour 1/3 of the mixture into 2 glasses.

2) Add in a 4-6 frozen strawberries and a splash of liquid so the mixture isn’t as thick as the first layer. Blend and pour the mixture into the glasses leaving enough for the last layer.

3) Lastly, add the rest of the frozen strawberries and some more liquid then whirl into a smooth, thin consistency (not as thick as the 2nd layer). Carefully top off your glasses with the remainder of the mixture.

4) Drink in layers for a fun variation on your favorite healthy drink!
